Before entering the Admissions Ward, the patient contacts the staff remotely, using the phone by the door or by calling tel. 67011300 and informs the staff of the Admissions Ward if:

  • a Covid-19 infection has been confirmed in a laboratory and you are in isolation;
  • signs of respiratory infectious disease can be observed;
  • the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control has identified you as the contact person of a patient with a Covid-19 infection;
  • you are in solitary confinement for 14 days after arrival from abroad, from a place that the Centre for Disease Prevention and Control has recognized as a place with a high prevalence of Covid-19 infection.

If any of the above conditions apply to you, your admission at the hospital will be organized in compliance with the conditions of epidemiological safety, in accordance with the procedures specified at the Maternity Hospital.

Upon entering the Admissions Ward, the staff will ask for a verbal confirmation that the above conditions do not apply to you. The patient will be given a face mask for individual use. The patient may be accompanied by one accompanying person who has verbally stated that the above conditions do not apply to him or her. The accompanying person purchases the face masks at his or her own expense.

The presence and visits of the accompanying person at the Maternity Hospital’s infection isolation room are not allowed.

When you are at the premises of the Maternity Hospital, you and your accompanying person should take the following precautionary measures:

  • in common areas and in contact with Maternity Hospital staff in the wards and patient care rooms, a face mask much be obligatorily and correctly worn;
  • as far as possible, a safe distance of 2 m must be observed;
  • regular hand disinfection and hygiene.

We draw your attention to the fact that the fulfilment of epidemiological safety requirements in medical institutions is monitored by the Health Inspectorate and the State Police. Failure to comply with these conditions may result in administrative action.

People who do not use or misuse face masks may be expelled from the Maternity Hospital.
