Pregnancy care at the Maternity Hospital is provided by the Prenatal Care Service of the Outpatient Unit.

The aim of pregnancy care is to:

• Ensure quality medical care during pregnancy, following the maternal and baby’s health situation;
• Identify possible health risks to remove them in a timely manner;
• Provide support and practical advice to the mother and baby’s health promotion.

Modern and qualified care during pregnancy at the Riga Maternity Hospital is ensured by midwives and obstetrician-gynaecologists. You can get both the State-funded maternity care and pregnancy care with the selected specialist as an individual payable service.
