Līva Ķīse

AREAS OF COMPETENCE

Līva Ķīse is a certified obstetritian and gynaecologist, who has graduated from Riga Stradins university (RSU), and currently works as a certified ob/gyn in Riga Maternity Hospital (RMH) Labour ward.

Provides antenatal and postpartum care in RMH Outpatient clinics.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Interested in short and long term effects of nutrition and lifestyle on maternal  and fetal health, has participated in implementation of research project „Excess  Weight, Dietary Habits and Vitamin D and Omega-3 Fatty Acid Status in Pregnancy“.

Dr Ķīse is a lecturer at RSU Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Dr Ķīse continuously improves knowledge and practical skills at international conferences and master classes in gynaecology and obstetrics, presents scientific theses at conferences. In 2019, was a visiting trainee in gynaecology and obstetrics unit at Vivantes hospital in Berlin, Germany.

MEMBERSHIP IN ORGANIZATIONS

Dr Ķīse is a board member of Latvian Association of Trainees in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and member of Latvian Association of Young Doctors.
